News Corp. Hackers Ran Amok for Two Years, Media Giant Admits  

News Corp. has divulged that hackers stole private business documents while spending almost two years in the media giant’s systems. So reports Ars Technica.

News corpThe parent company of The Wall Street Journal and Fox News disclosed the theft and the duration of the breach in a notification letter sent to at least one impacted employee.

The additional disclosure came after News Corp. said in an SEC filing that it had detected “persistent cyberattack activity” in a third-party cloud service.
