Yum! Brands Confirms Data Breach After Ransomware Attack  

Yum! Brands, the parent company of fast-food chains KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, has acknowledged that a ransomware attack led to a breach of employee data. So reports Cyber Security Hub.

Yum BrandsThe January 18 attack and its impact on IT systems caused Yum! Brands to temporarily close about 300 UK locations, the company said.

Exposed data included driver’s license numbers. Yum! Brands told affected individuals that it saw “no evidence of identity theft or fraud.”
