Law Giant Proskauer Rose Suffers Data Leak After Attack on Vendor  

Proskauer Rose, one of the biggest U.S. law firms, has confirmed that it is looking into how a cyberattack on an outside vendor left its data exposed on an unsecured cloud server. So reports ABA Journal.

proskauer roseThe firm said in a statement, “Our tech security team recently learned that an outside vendor that we retained to create an information portal on a third-party cloud-based storage platform had not properly secured it.”

Although Proskauer Rose did not specify the sort of data affected, information from the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice was reportedly accessible for more than six months.
