Toyota Reveals Two More Data Leaks After Big Disclosure  

Toyota has disclosed two additional data leaks shortly after revealing to the public that vehicle data of more than 2 million customers in Japan was publicly accessible for over a decade. So reports CarScoops.

toyotaThe carmaker said that the personal details of an unspecified number of customers in Asia and Oceania were externally accessible from October 2016 to May 2023 “due to a misconfiguration.”

Toyota also said that vehicle data of about 260,000 customers in Japan using the Lexus G-Link connected services may have been publicly available between February 2015 and May 2023.
