Flagstar Bank Suffers Third Data Breach Since 2021

Flagstar Bank, one of the biggest U.S. mortgage servicers, has gone through its third data breach since March 2021. So reports Infosecurity Magazine.

Flagstar BankThe company said its latest breach, through third-party service provider Fiserv and linked to the vulnerabilities exploited in this year’s MOVEit mass-hacking, affected 837,390 customers.

According to Flagstar, the breach took place from May 27 to May 31, prior to the disclosure of the MOVEit flaw, and exposed names and other customer information.
