Sony Warns 6,800 Employees of Data Breach

Sony has informed roughly 6,800 current and former employees of its game division that they and their family members may have had their personal information compromised in a cyberattack. So reports Variety.

Sony2A data breach notification on the Maine attorney general’s website did not detail the type of information potentially exposed in the attack.

In the notification, Sony Interactive Entertainment said the breach was linked to the MOVEit mass-hack.
