McLaren Health Care Breach Hits 2.2M Patients  

McLaren Health Care, which operates 13 hospitals across Michigan, has acknowledged that a cyberattack exposed the sensitive personal and health details of 2.2 million patients. So reports TechCrunch.

mclaren health careMcLaren said in a regulatory filing with Maine’s attorney general that the company discovered on August 13 that hackers had been in its networks from June 28 through August 23.

The Alphv, or BlackCat, ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack in October.
