Facebook Gave Companies Access to Users’ Messages

Facebook gave about a dozen companies broad access to users’ personal data without consent. So reports The New York Times.

Spotify, Netflix and the Royal Bank of Canada could see, post, and remove users’ private messages. Facebook said none of the deals infringed on users’ privacy.
