Cybersecurity Risks Put Manufacturing Industry in Jeopardy

Manufacturers are increasingly at risk to have their productions shut down—potentially crippling the supply chain—from cyber attacks. So reports The New York Times.

One cybersecurity expert said manufacturers are "sloppy" with respect to cybersecurity. Some attacks led to millions of dollars in losses. Ransom and intellectual property theft were among some of the motives.
