Few Employees Receive Annual Cybersecurity Training

Businesses may not be doing enough to educate employees about cybersecurity, a new survey by Chubb suggests. So reports The National Law Review.

Only 31% of Americans surveyed on behalf of Chubb said their employer provides them with annual company-wide trainings or updates around cybersecurity. “If proper employee education programs are not implemented, there may be long-standing business ramifications,” accorrding to Chubb’s report. The results are based on 1,223 online surveys completed for the insurance company in May 2019.
