Half of Healthcare Payers Faced Breach in Last Five Years: Study

A new study from LexisNexis Risk Solutions has found that 49% of healthcare payers said they experienced a data breach incident over the past five years. So reports Becker’s Payer Issues.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions surveyed 41 of the top 100 healthcare payers, which are health plan providers such as UnitedHealth, Aetna and Humana.
