Lockheed Martin Backs UCF Cyber Lab, Aims to Address Talent Shortage

The University of Central Florida is developing a cybersecurity laboratory on the back of a $1.5 million grant from Lockheed Martin. So reports The Orlando Sentinel.

The new lab will be placed in the university's Engineering I building and opens next year. UCF has a nationally recognized cybersecurity program and its Cyber Defense Club has won three competitive championships. The laboratory will help address a shortage of cybersecurity talent plaguing the nation.
