87% of Healthcare Execs to Spend More on Cybersecurity in '19: Survey

A new survey identified increased spending for defense against cyber threats as a priority for healthcare professionals. So reports Healthcare Informatics.

The survey was conducted by the Center for Connected Medicine and the Health Management Academy. The survey also found optimism with respect to reimbursement for telehealth services and anxiety from Amazon, Apple and Google occupying space in the industry.

The survey measured what respondents said they expect will have the biggest impact on the industry in five years. Executive leaders pointed to genomics, artificial intelligence and consumer technology.
