Planned Parenthood Data Breach Exposes 400,000 Patients  

Planned Parenthood’s Los Angeles branch has warned that it suffered a data breach impacting roughly 400,000 patients. So reports the Associated Press.

Planned ParenthoodAccording to Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, malware installed by a hacker between October 9 and October 17 “exfiltrated” files with patient names and potentially other information.

The organization said it found no sign the data was used “for fraudulent purposes.”
