The program offers grants of up to $1.5 million for entities from the two countries that team up on advanced tools for “mission-critical cybersecurity needs.”
“Through the BIRD Cyber program, DHS and [the Israel National Cyber Directorate] will harness the innovation and ingenuity of the Israeli and American technology sectors to drive security and resilience,” Robert Silvers, undersecretary for strategy, policy and plans at the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement.
