China-Backed Hackers Hit U.S. Infrastructure, Microsoft Warns  

Microsoft has sounded the alarm that a hacking organization funded by China’s government has targeted U.S. infrastructure in Guam and beyond. So reports Bloomberg.

china 156219 640smallMicrosoft said activities since 2021 by the group known as Volt Typhoon were probably designed to interfere with communications should a crisis occur.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson rejected Microsoft’s findings as “false information.”
