Cybersecurity Poses Risk to U.S. Financial Stability: Report

Cybersecurity threats and mounting corporate debt for non-financial sector firms pose some of the biggest threats to U.S. financial stability, according to new report from the Financial Stability Oversight Council. So reports Pensions and Investments.

The risk of serious negative consequences from an attack has increased as the financial sector has seen its reliance on information technology increase. Financial risks across the globe have also apparently risen, according to the report.
